At Pan Borneo Hotel Kota Kinabalu, we are dedicated to ensuring that every guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and pleasant stay. To maintain high standards of service, we kindly requests that all guests observe the following hotel policies:
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-In Time: 3.00 PM
Check-Out Time: By 12.00 PM (noon)
Late check-out charges:
MYR50 for check-out before 3.00 PM
MYR100 for check-out before 6.00 PM
Full room rate applies for check-out after 6.00 PM
Room Rates & Payment
Additional breakfast may be requested at the following rates:
Adult: MYR25 per person
Child: MYR15 per person (age 6 -12 years old)
Charges for an extra bed are MYR90 per night inclusive with 1 breakfast for 1 person, subject to availability.
Full payment or a valid credit card guarantee is required at the time of booking or check-in.
A refundable deposit is required to cover incidental charges.
Cancellation & No Show
Cancellations made at least 3 days before the scheduled check-in date is eligible for a refund.
Cancellations made within 3 days of check-in or “No Show” will incur a penalty of one night’s room rate.
All cancellations and refunds are subject to a MYR10 processing fee and a 5% payment gateway charge.
Children & Extra Beds
Children under 12 years may stay free of charge when sharing existing bedding with parents/guardians. Please note that breakfast is not included and will be charged separately.
Extra beds are available at MYR90 per bed, per night, subject to availability. The rate includes breakfast for one (1) person.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and indoor public areas.
Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
A penalty fee will be imposed for violations of the no-smoking policy.
Pets Policy
Pets are not permitted on the hotel premises.
Guest Services
The hotel provides 24-hour reservation support for your convenience.
Our team is available to assist with booking modifications, inquiries, and special requests.
Visitors
All visitors must register at the Front Desk.
Unregistered visitors are not permitted in guest rooms after 10.00 PM for security reasons.
Safety & Security
Please familiarise yourself with the emergency exits located on your room door and throughout the hotel.
Guests are advised to use the in-room safe for valuables. The hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings left unattended.
Damage to Property
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property, facilities, or equipment during their stay.
Charges will apply for repair or replacement costs.
Swimming Pool & Fitness Facilities
Use of facilities is at guests’ own risk.
Appropriate swimwear/attire is required, and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Guests must comply with posted rules and staff instructions.
Force Majure
The hotel shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, or unforeseen circumstances.
